Christian Pharmacist Fellowship of Nigeria (CPFN) is a non-profit, non-governmental, non-denominational Christian organization. The vision of CPFN is to facilitate, encourage and empower Pharmacists to reach out to colleagues and clients and prepare such for the coming of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ through regular meetings, seminars, convention, outreaches, publications, prayers etc. The Fellowship is also focused on seeking out members’ welfare and meeting their physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs.
The Fellowship was born out of the Holy Spirit inspiring Dr. Wilson Oyekigho Erhun who had a strong burden for God’s intervention in the Pharmacy profession. Dr. Erhyn facilitated the inaugural meeting of Christian Pharmacists in Nigeria during the PSN National conference held at the NICON NUGA Hilton Hotel, Abuja Nigeria (now Transcorp Hilton Abuja hotel) on the 2nd November 1988. Thereafter it became an annual event for Christian Pharmacists to meet during PSN annual national conferences praying for the profession, sharing the love of Chris and listening to outstanding testimonies of the great things God is doing in the lives of Pharmacists. The meetings are tagged “Breakfast meetings”. It is a programme that Pharmacists now look out for at PSN national conferences.

In the year 2000, the Fellowship organized its first annual national convention as a separate programe outside the PSN national conference. This has created an ample opportunity for Christian Pharmacist to meet at the venue of the PSN conference for that year to spiritually prepare the grounds for a successful conference and have very refreshing time of fellowship. The annual conventions have held regularly ever since

Upon the formation of CPFN, Dr. Erhun mobilized the forum of Christian pharmacy students (then known as pharmacy brethren) in OAU to form a national fellowship. By the special grace of God, the National Fellowship of Christian Pharmacy students (NFCPS) was inaugurated on 29th of March, 1991 at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife with representatives from all the pharmacy schools in Nigeria.

The primary goal was to bring Christian Pharmacy students together, creating awareness of serving the Lord better while in school and equipping them spiritually to overcome the challenges posed by the profession of pharmacy.

You are welcome to a gathering where God has faithfully elevated very committed members to enviable positions in the pharmacy profession. You case will not be different. God bless You
